Everything you'd want to know before ordering a book from a small press you've never bought from before.

Your books are printed to order

House of Crow doesn't hold warehouse stock. Your copy is printed after you order it. That's why nothing here ever goes out of print — and it's also why it takes a few days longer than a book sitting in an Amazon warehouse. Here's the honest timeline.

How long it takes

Printing: 2–5 business days
Signed editions: add 1–3 business days — each one is signed by hand before it ships
US delivery: 3–8 business days after printing
International delivery: 7–21 business days after printing, depending on destination and customs

A standard US paperback typically arrives within one to two weeks. A signed multi-book set can take a little longer, because every copy is signed individually.

Shipping cost

Calculated at checkout from your address and the weight of your order. US orders over $70 ship free.

Tracking

You'll get an order confirmation straight away, and a second email with tracking as soon as your parcel is moving. If tracking hasn't reached you within 7 business days, get in touch and we'll chase it.

If something arrives wrong

Damaged, misprinted or misbound? Email us within 30 days with a photo and we'll reprint and reship it free. You won't need to send the damaged copy back — keep it or pass it on.

Wrong item, or something missing from a set? Tell us and we'll send the right one at no cost.

Returns and cancellations

Because every book is printed individually for you, we can't resell a returned copy — so we don't accept general change-of-mind returns on printed books.

What we do instead:

Cancel before it prints. Contact us within 12 hours of ordering and we'll cancel and refund in full, as long as printing hasn't started.
Anything wrong with the book itself is reprinted free, as above — no time limit games, no restocking fee.
Never arrived? If tracking shows no movement for 14 days, or shows delivered and it isn't there, we'll reprint or refund. Your choice.

Refunds go back to your original payment method and usually appear within 5–10 business days.

Customs and import charges

International orders may attract duties or import taxes charged by your own country. These aren't included in your order total and are the recipient's responsibility.
